The KISSFAQ tourdate archive has its roots deep in the original KISS Mailing List FAQ dating back to 1994 and earlier. As such, much was originally done prior to this website being created. A great deal of additional work has been done on the tourdates listing in the years since, but the work (1973-2001) comes nowhere near as close to Curt Gooch and Jeff Suhs' staggering "KISS Alive Forever" book.
However, even with the existence of that excellent book, the KISSFAQ tourdates archive still has a
reason to live... The listings continue to be refined, corrected, and enhanced; and we're adding features to the list including setlists, concert posters, multimedia, and the touring history post-2002 which is not covered by "KISS Alive Forever;" or which really can't work in a print version.
Corrections, to all archived dates, and contributions are welcomed...
The KISSFAQ strongly suggests that no fan should be without a copy of "KISS Alive Forever" book. That book, possibly the best KISS-related book ever written, has a far higher degree of completeness and accuracy, setlists, attendance figures, stories, and more. It really is that good!
